Football Star Deluxe is a 5x5 grid slot with avalanching reels, super-stacked wilds and your choice of 18 to 88 paylines, set against a fairly standard Football theme.
It does have some shining goals: the free spins with those increasing multipliers and super stacked wilds can bring in some real fist-pumping wins.
As a follow up the Football Star slot though, it is an improvement, mostly because the base game is a lot more fun, you get bigger wins, and you have those avalanching wins to keep you company.
It's just a shame about the theme and the fact the pace can feel a little slow.
